Well it has been a month since I’ve updated my blog so I thought I would put something down here so that everyone knows that I am alive. So please bear with me if this seems like a bunch of random thoughts, but that is the name of my little space here on LJ.

| | Great Balls of Fire | ] | Today we went out to the sugar bush. Get you minds out of the gutter; a sugar bush is where maple syrup is made.
We went out to Fulton’s which is just east of Ottawa. We went for a short hike through the woods and looked at the gravity feed lines that send the sap from the maple trees back to the sugar shack where it is boiled down to make the syrup.
After our walk through the woods we went on a wagon ride and then went and ate pancakes and sausages. Hmmm. It was a very fun day. |

| Back in the Saddle Again |

I will be finishing up at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission . next Friday. I have been working with them on a per diem contract for the past year. I also did two fixed priced contracts with them before that, which means that I worked from my office, but would go over there for meetings, interviews etc. With all the work I’ve done with them it will have been two years that I started there. That is a big chunk of my professional life. I think that I may miss some of the people I’ve worked with there. Some of them were a lot of fun.
On a bright note now that I will be working back in my office I will be able to update my page more often. The firewalls at the CNSC were so tight I couldn’t even read my LJ. So after next Friday you can expect me to post more often. |

So it looks like the Police will be going on tour! I read this today on the CBC website.
Police to kick off reunion tour in Vancouver
The Police reunion tour will begin May 28 in Vancouver and include at least two other Canadian dates, the band announced Monday. Toronto's Air Canada Centre on July 21 and Montreal's Bell Centre on July 25 will be among the arena and stadium venues for the tour, the first since they disbanded in 1984.
